Walking Sticks

If you're one of the 1,800 ladies or gentlemen who received a free walking stick from our Baby Comfort Station folks at the Allegany and Garrett County Fairs, congratulations! The purpose of the stick is to remind you that God loves you and your family very, very much. He understands that it's impossible tomake it through this life on your own. That's why He sent His Son, Jesus, Who gave His life on the cross to take away your(and my)sins. If you invite Jesus to be your Rescuer/Friend/Boss, you'll have abundant life, both here on earth and forevermore in heaven! A great "next step" is to find a church of good folks who will encourage and help you in following Jesus' approach to life. ***WHAT ABOUT 2008'S FAIRS???*** Yes, indeed, Good Lord willin', we're planning on returning to both county fairs, and to bring more walking sticks. We haven't even asked for prayer for this year yet, and, already, the Lord has provided enough donations for a thousand sticks($2,120)! We never ask for money for these, only for our friends to pray that the Lord would show us how many HE wants us to get. Then, whatever donations come in by June 2nd, well, that's how many we'll order. Fair, once again.  Our association will pay for chicken, rolls, and iced tea.  Would you and/or church like to help with tables, chairs, side dishes, desserts, or helping serve?
