Kenny Heath: Associational Missionary

Kenny became missionary for the Western Baptist Association in 1997, following 12 years of pastoring churches in suburban Baltimore, the Lower Eastern Shore, and northeastern North Carolina. Growing up on a tobacco farm in Maysville, NC, Kenny has always had a passion for rural areas and their churches.
He graduated from Campbell University in 1981, and holds an M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Seminary, where he met Deborah Caffey, daughter of a pastor and wife of small churches in Texas, New Mexico, North Dakota, Minnesota, and California. Married in 1985, they have a daughter, Mary(born 1991), and a son, Clayton (born 1994).
Kenny enjoys history, especially of the entertainment of the 1930s and 40s. A member of the Three Stooges Fan Club, he volunteers as host of a big-band radio show at Frostburg State University. In recent years, Kenny’s gotten the opportunity to “entertain” at some senior adult events, with country humor and big band and classic country & western songs. Kenny is also a member of the Allegany County Farm Bureau.
