KY/MS/NC Partners

As part of the missions partnership between Southern Baptists in Maryland/Delaware and Kentucky, the Bracken Baptist Association(between I-64 and the Ohio River) and the Three Rivers Baptist Association(Hazard, KY) have entered into partnership with our association.  Our Grace Baptist Church in Cumberland sent several teams to Owingsville Baptist Church, to help with VBS and remodelling a donated former supermarket into a youth ministry center.  The folks from Owingsville have returned the favor, helping Grace with construction and other needs.   Second Baptist, Cumberland(Pastor Sherrill Dillon) has sent several teams to help at Jenkins, KY(Bessie McPeak's "Love from a Diaper Bag" ministry).  A team of seven ladies from Three Forks helped us at our Garrett County Fairgrounds ministry.

In October of 2008, we began a partnership with the New River Baptist Association, Jacksonville, NC, our associational missionary's birthplace.

We also have a long-standing partnership with the Winston Baptist Association in Louisville, MS.
